Spartan Landscape Development was founded with one goal in mind, to provide a full range of superior landscaping services, including landscape design and installation, irrigation, hardscaping, softscaping, concrete, fence, erosion control, landscape drainage, low voltage lighting, and landscape maintenance, at affordable rates to valued residents and businesses.

Carlos moved to Placer County in 1990 with his parents and younger brother, from San Jose, CA. He attended Del Oro High School in Loomis, CA, and graduated in 2001. After High School, he received an A.A. in business from Sierra College and studied two years in Sac State with a major in communications/ Journalism.
It was during this time he decided to open his own landscaping business with his life savings of $458 and a borrowed truck from his father. What started as a one-man crew and a 30 account small business, grew into a successful team of 10 employees, over 250 maintenance accounts, install crews, 8 trucks, 4 trailers, and a contractor’s License. He mostly credits his father for mentoring him in ambition, work ethic, and landscaping industry knowledge, which has created a unique natural ability to visualize perfection in the field. He resides in Roseville,CA and surrounding areas, Lincoln, Newcastle, Penryn, Loomis, Auburn, Rocklin, Granite Bay, CA.
